PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the thickness from becoming bulky when a folding container is folded, and make the thickness approximately even. SOLUTION: This hinge structure for the folding container is attached to the opening edge at the corner section of the folding container. Such a hinge structure is equipped with one hinge piece 1, the other hinge piece 2, and a connecting member 3. In this case, one hinge piece 1 has a cylindrical shaft 5 which is formed into a cylindrical shape, and a fitting groove 9 which is fitted on the opening edge of the folding container. The other hinge piece 2 has a cylindrical shaft 15 which is formed into a cylindrical shape, and a fitting groove 19 which is fitted on the opening edge of the folding container. The connecting member 3 axially supports respective cylindrical shafts 5 and 15 while making them in parallel, and makes respective hinge pieces 1 and 2 turnable. Thus, especially under a configuration wherein respective hinge pieces 1 and 2 are opened at 180 deg., a section protruding from the thickness, which is formed by respective hinge pieces 1 and 2, is eliminated, and the folded thickness of the folding container does not become bulky. Also, the folded thickness becomes approximately even. Therefore, a superposed storage region for the storage of the folding container is not required more than necessary, and also, the folding containers can be stably stacked. |
