PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly adjust the temperature of a molding material running through a material passage provided at a valve device. SOLUTION: In the material passage 11, a gate side passage part 11a and a nozzle touch part 11c to which a nozzle 10 of an injection molding machine is connected, are joined together by a detour passage part 11b which makes a detour around a valve pin 46. Next, in order to drive the valve pin 46, an annular air cylinder device 51 is provided, encircling a valve body 21 with the material passage 11 formed internally. Band heaters 81, 82 and 83 are installed on the outer peripheral parts of a small diameter part 27 and a large diameter part 28 of a first valve body member 24 and the outer peripheral part of a second valve body member 25 respectively. Since the temperature is locally not high, the heat influence to an O-ring 59 of the air cylinder device 51 is not significant.
