PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly read a bar code provided on a simplified container with embossed outer packaging paper wound around a body of the container. SOLUTION: A flat 27 is formed at a predetermined position in outer packaging paper 20 on which an embossed design 23 is formed and which is to be wound around a body 10 of a simplified container. Ribs 29 and 30 for absorbing the deformation of the paper 20 are provided so as to surround the circumference of the flat 27, and a bar code 28 is formed on the flat 27.
