PURPOSE: A terminal for home shopping and a method for an order/payment using the same are provided to order a commodity through the Internet network, pay a price thereof, and display a processed result on a cable TV screen in real time. CONSTITUTION: A home shopping server(10) supplies commodity information through an Internet network(20). A CATV(cable television) headend(30) relays the commodity information received from the home shopping server(10). A set-top box(50) receives commodity information from the CATV headend(30) through a cable network(40). A CATV(80) displays received commodity information. An order/payment terminal(60) transmits order information and payment information of a commodity to the home shopping server(10) through the Internet network(20). The order/payment terminal(60) receives order confirmation information and payment approval information from the home shopping server(10) and transmits the order confirmation information and the payment approval information by wireless. An OSD(On-Screen Display) module(70) is connected between the set-top box(50) and the CATV(80), receives the order confirmation information and the payment approval information from the order/payment terminal(60), processes received information as a character form, and transmits the processed received information to the CATV(80). |
