PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massively parallel computer capable of improving parallel processing efficiency in spite of the increase of the number of CPUs by effectively utilizing all the CPUs also in a dividing problem requiring a huge quantity of repeated calculation. SOLUTION: An optional cell computer 106 (A) monitors the operating rate of the other cell computer 106 (B). When the operating rate of the other cell computer 106 (B) is smaller than a prescribed value, the optional cell computer 106 (A) copies a clone program the execution instruction of which is equal to that of the optional cell computer 106 (A) to the other cell computer 106 (B), equally divides its processing sharing range and makes the other cell computer 106 (B) process the other divided processing range.
