PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional coupler that can be made to have an aimed degree of coupling and loose coupling, to be adjustable over a wide range, and to be reduced in cost without performing manufacturing steps more than needed nor high-accuracy working, assembling, etc. SOLUTION: This directional coupler is provided with a main hue 10 and an auxiliary line 20 arranged with a set interval in-between. This coupler is also provided with a housing 30 which forms the external conductors of the main and auxiliary lines 10 and 20 by holding and fixing the lines 10 and 20 inside. In addition, this coupler is also provided with adjusters 40-1 to 40-3 which are held by the housing 30 in a state where the adjusters 40-1 to 40-3 are passed through one side wall of the housing 30 from the outside to the inside of the housing 30, so that the protruded amounts of the adjusters 40-1 to 40-3 in the housing 30 may be adjusted from the outside of the housing 30 and control the degree of electrical coupling between the hues 10 and 20.
