PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can use roll papers having a wide printing width and can be carried with in a state with a portable terminal and the printer kept in one piece. SOLUTION: The printer 11 has a slim housing 21, which can be held by one hand and stores the roll paper 3 in a longitudinal direction A. When one holds the housing 21, a paper discharge opening 6 is turned upside and the printed roll paper 3 is outputted in a lateral direction of the housing 21. Since the printer 11 can use the roll paper 3 having the wide printing width, a function of the portable terminal lacking in a display can be supplemented and the portable terminal can be used in wider ways. |
