STRUCTURE OF SEAL FOR PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a seal for a panel improved to attain a flush surface without making a large change in the structure of a conventional seal. SOLUTION: In this structure of the seal 12 attached to the outer peripheral edge of a panel body (a glass panel 5 in an embodiment) provided in an opening 2 formed in a vehicle body, the upper face of the seal is set to be almost flush with the upper face of the panel body, and a lip 20 that can abut on the edge of the panel body is formed along the upper face of the seal and constituted to deform the edge of the lip downward when abutting on the edge of the panel body. Since the edge of the lip is deformed downward, the dimensional error of the panel body is absorbed while enhancing the continuity of the upper face of the seal and the upper face of the panel body.
