摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of working fuel nozzle and a fuel nozzle working apparatus, in which increased efficiency of a drilling process and higher precision of a fuel nozzle are obtained. SOLUTION: In a method and apparatus of working fuel nozzle, on the raw material of a hollow-pipe-shaped fuel nozzle having a fuel passage, fuel injection holes communicating with the fuel passage are drilled. After performing drilling operation by means of drilling tool having predetermined diameter with means for introducing pressurized air connected to the fuel passage, the flow rates of pressurized air injecting from the fuel injection holes are measured. If the concerned flow rates do not reach the predetermined flow rate, the drilling operation is repeated, and if the number of repetitions exceeds the predetermined number of times, the drilling tool is replaced with one having larger diameter and the drilling operation is repeated, and when the predetermined flow rate is obtained, the working is made to be terminated. As a result of such a constitution and the working defined according to actual results, without regard to individual working conditions of the injection holes, fuel nozzles of high accuracy of fuel injection quantity are obtained easily.
