PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide darts for slag-cut which can efficiently restrain the slag from flowing out when molten steel in a converter is tapped off. SOLUTION: The upper side part 3a of the darts is made of a resin as a combustible material and threw down after tilting the converter at 90 deg.. The resin portion 3a is burnt by coming into contact with the slag, and the slag is pushed aside from the circumference of the darts 5 with combustion gas generated thereat and thus, the flow-out of the slag caused by involvement with tapped molten steel flow is restrained.
