ADDRESS ALLOCATING METHOD USING MMC IN EXCHANGE HAVING LAN APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An address allocating method using MMC(Man Machine Communication) in an exchange having a LAN(Local Area Network) apparatus is provided to allocate an address to the LAN apparatus by using a key set telephone. CONSTITUTION: A control unit checks over whether an MMC signal for allocating an MMC address is inputted from the key set in an MMC mode(201). When the MMC signal for allocating the MMC address is inputted, the control unit transmits a signal for requesting an address and an initial value of the address to the key set(207). When an address is inputted from the key set in response to the address input request, the address is stored to a memory(211). Thereafter, the address is allocated to the LAN apparatus(213).
