There is provided a closure which is a closure for a container, and wherein at least a sealing element thereof is formed of a resin composition comprising as principal components (A) a polyolefin resin, (B) a vinyl alcohol copolymer and (C) an elastomer, said component (B) being contained in an amount of 10 to 1000 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the component (A) and said component (C) being contained in an amount of 5 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight, in total, of the components (A) and (B). Furthermore, there is also provided a sealing element. |
