PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container for receiving instant noodles or the like which does not contain an aluminum layer and includes a lid with high shape retention of an opening. SOLUTION: The packaging container includes a container body having an opening on its upper surface and a sheetlike lid 3 to be heat-sealed to a periphery of the opening for closing it. The sheetlike lid 3 is made of a laminate comprising, sequentially from a surface, at least a paper layer, a plastic base layer and a heat-sealable plastic layer, and consists of an unsealing tab 31 projecting outwardly from a portion of its periphery and an easy-to-bend region 35. The easy-to-bend region 35 comprises half-cut creases 35a and is disposed at an area opposite to the unsealing tab with respect to the center of the lid. It extends approximately orthogonally to the unsealing direction and passes through the plastic layer. The half-cut creases 35a are preferably formed to stand clear of a heat-sealed region 32 around the periphery of the lid. |
