PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mite inhibitory resin composition that can effectively manifest the efficacy of the miticide and a method of efficiently producing the resin composition. SOLUTION: The mite inhibitory resin composition comprises 2- methoxycarbonyl-4-chlorotrifluoromethanesulfone anilide and a low-melting temperature resin. The mite inhibitory resin composition is produced by melting 2-methoxycarbonyl-4-chlorotrifluoromethanesulfone anilide together with a low- melting temperature resin at a temperature within the range from the melting point of the resin to the melting point of the resin +50 deg.C and by melt-kneading them.
