PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication Karaoke system capable of displaying a background video peculiar to each melody to which the peculiar background video is newly added, while continuously using the existing music data for which the peculiar background video is not prepared. SOLUTION: A Karaoke terminal is added with a disk storing therein video data peculiar to a new melody, while BGV index files specifying the storing positions of these video data as illustrated are distributed from a host computer to the Karaoke terminal together with the music data of the new melody. Thus, the Karaoke device is able to cope with an addition of a new melody for which the peculiar background video is prepared, while continuously using the existing music data as usual for which the peculiar background video is not prepared. |
