PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method operating on an established first connection between a first endpoint device and a second endpoint device. SOLUTION: An example embodiment of the method comprises a decision step in which a decision is made in the first endpoint device whether to switch form the first connection to a second connection between the first endpoint device and the second endpoint device. Upon the decision being to switch, an information exchange step is carried out for exchanging connection information between the first endpoint device and the second endpoint device, enabling the establishment of the second connection. Furthermore, a setup step is carried out for establishing the second connection under use of the connection information. The invention further relates to a telecommunication endpoint device that provides selection between the two connections.
