摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure which can surely avoid the leakage of coolant while an air gap is contracted. SOLUTION: A plurality of stator cores 2, 2, etc., on which coils 3 are wound with insulators 5 in-between, are assembled to constitute a stator 1 and a part of each slot 24 in which the coils 3 are contained is used as a cooling path through which cooling oil is made to flow. An insulating underplate 6 is placed on the opening side of the slot 24, and an insulating cooling oil tight sealing plate 4 is placed on the underplate 6 so as to have the surface of the sealing plate 4 on an approximately same plane as the inner circumferential surfaces of the stator cores. The cooling oil tight sealing plate 4 and the stator cores 2 and 2 are engaged with each other by recessed/protruding engagement parts 50 to achieve the sealing for avoiding the leakage of the cooling oil.
