PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a number of people measuring device capable of easily and quickly performing the approximate measurement of the number of people with a simple and maneuverable equipment. SOLUTION: The number of people passing without stopping Npass in a predetermined period is obtained on the basis of; Npass =(Ftotal -F'stop )/AVpass-frame F'stop =Fstop +Nstop ×AVstop-frame , when the number of times of the total presence of people in the whole frames acquired in the predetermined period is Ftotal , the number of times of the presence of the people stopping in the whole frames is Fstop , the number of people stopping in the whole frame is Nstop , an average number of frames necessary when the people passes through without stopping is AVpass-frame , and the average number of frames necessary when the people stops and passes through is AVstop-frame . Accordingly, the total number of people passing through during the period N can be calculated on the basis of; N=Npass +Nstop . |
