PURPOSE: A method and a system for intermediating the article exchange of an exchange condition matching type through the information communication network are provided to grasp whether the exchange condition of a user is agreed with the exchange condition of a counterpart in real time and to connect them with each other in case of the agreement. CONSTITUTION: The system includes a plurality of computers(11,12) and an exchange intermediating server system(13). Each computer(11,12) uploads the information for the desired article and the exchange condition to the server(13) through the Internet, receives a searching result for the exchange condition from the server(13), and performing the communication between the owners of the article to give or take. The server(13) performs a role for intermediating members by matching the members of the agreed exchange condition. The server(13) includes a member information database(13), an exchange condition information database(15), an exchange condition searching module(16), a member searching module(17), and a web module(18).
