PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure between a boundary beam and a floor slab, in a building having a beam with a vibration control damper built therein, which does not cause cracking in the floor slab. SOLUTION: According to the joint structure, a beam covering member 3 is arranged on an upper surface of the boundary beam 1 over the entire length thereof. The beam covering member 3 is formed of a flat plate 3a having the same width as that of the boundary beam 1, and leg portions 3b which are arranged on a lower surface of the flat plate 3a along four sides of the same. The floor slab 2 to be laid in the building is arranged so as to be the same in horizontal height as the flat plate 3a of the beam covering member 3 arranged on the upper surface of the boundary beam 1. Further, the floor slab 2 is arranged adjacently to the boundary beam 1 in a manner being spaced an interval 4b of about 20 mm apart, and therefore the floor slab 2 is completely insulated from the boundary beam 1.
