PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact IC card capable of coping with a plurality of services with one noncontact IC card, and shortening the processing time and a position detecting method for the noncontact IC card. SOLUTION: This noncontact IC card 1 receiving electric power supply from a reader/writer 2 by electromagnetic connection with the reader/writer 2, and communicating with the reader/writer, in which a characteristic constitution means having at least one magnetic field detecting element 3 provided with a detecting coil 101 on the upper face of a magnetic sheet 102 composed of the sheet-shaped magnetic member is adopted.
