PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data rotation processing apparatus where the number of SRAMs in use is small, the circuit scale is small and the number of external test terminals is small. SOLUTION: The image data rotation processing apparatus includes an address control means capable of writing/reading image data to/from n-sets of 2-port SRAMs each having m×n bits in depth and m bits in width in main and sub scanning directions, and can write succeeding image data before 90-degree rotation sequentially to addresses having outputted their data already at the same time while outputting the image data subjected to 90-degree rotation processing from the 2-port SRAM after once writing the image data before 90-degree rotation processing to n-sets of the 2-port SRAMs. Thus, the image data rotation processing apparatus can conduct the 90-degree rotation processing of image data at a high-speed without the need for provision of two buffer memories to simultaneously write/read image data. Further, by adopting the 2-port SRAMs the number of the SRAMs, the number of BIST circuits and the number of external test terminals can be decreased to decrease the cost. |
