It is intended to provide an adsorbent, an adsorption unit and an adsorption method whereby immunoglobulin and/or an immune complex contained in a body fluid (blood, plasma, etc.) can be efficiently and selectively adsorbed without any pretreatment. An adsorbent having very excellent adsorptivity ca n be obtained by fixing a compound having an activity of binding to immunoglobulin and/or an immune complex onto a water-insoluble support.
