The transportable bicycle stand (1) for fastening to the towing bar of a caravan is a cross member (2) which has supports vertically installed on its ends. One support (3b) supports the cross member on the ground, and the other support (3a) has means by which the stand can be reversibly fastened to the coupling (6) of a trailer or caravan. The cross member is a frame or perforated beam. The support which supports the cross member on the ground is for fitting in the ground by a hammer-in sleeve (10), or may have a foot resting on the ground.
