Ready-to-use lightener and colorant for keratin fibers, with basic pH, contains: (a) an oxidant; and (b) yellow, red and/or blue direct dye(s) comprising 3-((4,5-dihydro-3-methyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo)-N,N,N-tri methyl-benzenaminum, 3 (5)-((4-(benzylmethylamino(phenyl)-azo)-1,2- (1,4)-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolium and N,N,N-trialkyl-3-((4-(amino)-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydro-1-anthracenyl)ami no)-1-alkanaminium salt(s) respectively. Ready-to-use lightener and colorant for keratin fibers, with basic pH, contains: (a) an oxidant; and (b) yellow direct dye(s) comprising 3-((4,5-dihydro-3-methyl-5-oxo-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)azo)-N,N,N-tri methyl-benzenaminum salt(s) (I), red direct dye(s) comprising 3 (or 5)-((4-(benzylmethylamino(phenyl)-azo)-1,2- (or 1,4)-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolium salt(s) (II) and/or blue direct dye(s) comprising N,N,N-trialkyl-3-((4-(amino)-9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydro-1-anthracenyl)ami no)-1-alkanaminium salt(s) (III) of the given formulae: R<1> = H, 1-4 C alkyl, phenyl or 2-4 C hydroxyalkyl; R<2>, R<3>, R<4> = 1-4 C alkyl; Z = 2-6 C alkylene; X<-> = chloride, bromide, alkylsulfate, arylsulfate, sulfate or acetate anion. Independent claims are included for: (1) Variant containing (a) an oxidant and (b) (III) plus (I) and/or (II); (2) Two-component colorant comprising (A) color carrier containing (I), (II) and/or (III) and optionally other direct and/or oxidative dye precursors and (B) oxidant (B).
