摘要 PURPOSE: A disk placement structure of a spindle motor for an optical disk drive is provided to reduce the number of parts, assembly procedures and costs by eliminating the need of using a clamp for fixing the optical disk. CONSTITUTION: A disk placement structure comprises a main body; a spindle motor(110) mounted on the main body, and which has a rotation shaft(112) having an exposed end; a T-bush(150) having a center coupled to the exposed end of the rotation shaft; a turn table(120) having a perforation hole(122), and a center fixed to the T-bush; a ring-shaped support member(130) attached to the edge of the upper surface of the turn table; a disk(140) mounted on the upper surface of the support member; and an air evacuation plate(170) arranged underneath the turn table, and which evacuates air from a space(160) formed between the disk and the turn table upon rotation of the turn table.
