<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic device which can always exhibit excellent hearing performance with a sound-insulating earplug inserted in an ear canal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The acoustic device is used by fitting a contact part 3 of a speaker unit 2 to a projecting part 5 of an earplug 1 with the earplug 1 mounted to an ear canal. Since the earplug 1 and the speaker unit 2 are always kept in a favorable contact state, the vibration of the speaker unit 2 is efficiently transmitted to the earplug 1. Since a sound can be heard by providing vibration to the earplug 1 while the inside of the ear canal of a user is kept in a quiet environment with noise from the outside insulated by the earplug 1, extremely high hearing performance can be exhibited even at high noise.
