PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device for detecting the unauthorized use of a time stamp.

SOLUTION: This document management device 10 for managing the acquisition circumstances of a time stamp for time authentication to be issued from a TSA7 and given to a document is provided with a management information storage part 20 for storing the first remainder of the time stamp which can be issued from the TSA7 by associating it with account ID to be used in acquiring the time stamp; a time stamp acquisition part 18 for acquiring the second remainder of the time stamp for every account ID from the TSA7; and a detection part 32 for detecting the unauthorized use of account when the second remainder acquired by the time stamp acquisition part 18 is smaller than the first remainder stored in the management information storage part 20 for every account ID.
