PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the demand of providing a quick and precise solution with good cost efficiency for a conventional blood collecting work where a blood collecting operator consistently confirms a success of venipuncture depending on flashback, particularly the demand of providing a blood collecting device capable of immediately showing the success of venipuncture by carrying the blood through a relatively short needle directly pierced to a flashback chamber. SOLUTION: A needle assembly comprises a transparent or translucent housing having a fluid inlet end regulated by a cylindrical outer wall. This wall comprises an annular flashback chamber for retaining a fluid sample in the housing. This wall further comprises a transparent or translucent structure or a sealed window or port provided thereon, so that the fluid in the chamber can be directly visually confirmed.
