PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output pulse detector for equipment in a game parlor and a game parlor managing device, which can reduce the amount of connecting work by reducing the number of signal wires for connecting a signal converter with a state determining device. SOLUTION: The signal converter and the state determining device are provided; and the signal converter converts a signal, which indicates a state of an output terminal of the equipment in the game parlor, to serial data, and transmits the converted serial data to the state determining device. The state determining device determines a voltage pulse, which is output from the output terminal of the equipment in the game parlor, in accordance with the serial data received from the signal converter. Additionally, the signal converter is equipped with a signal input terminal for connection of a voltage pulse signal which is output from the output terminal of the equipment in the game parlor, and constituted to operate when a voltage of a power supply terminal, which is connected to the signal input terminal, is made equal to/larger than a prescribed voltage.
