PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tackle box especially suitable for going fishing such as lure fishing by a beginner. SOLUTION: This tackle box 11 is formed so as to be freely hung and held with a box body part 12 having an opened surface 21 and freely classifying and housing fishing tackles into a spatial part 22 divided through partition plates 29 and a lid part 52 mounted through hinge parts 61 on the box body part 12 so as to freely cover the box body part 12 therewith. In the tackle box 11, the box body part 12 is formed in an arrangement relationship in which the planar direction of its opened surface 21 is located in the nearly vertical direction and exposed when the tackle box 11 is hung and held. The lid part 52 has a recessed surface 55 surrounded and formed through gentle slopes 54 on the side of its inner surface 53. The lid part 52 is connected through the hinge parts 61 to the lower edge side of the opened surface 21 of the box body part 12 located when the tackle box 11 is hung and held so that the lid is opened in the direction intersecting at nearly right angles from the planar direction of the opened surface 21 as the maximum angle.
