PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of security in a fingerprint collating device when a fingerprint cannot be collated. SOLUTION: An fingerprint input from a fingerprint input part is collated with a previously registered fingerprint. When the input fingerprint coincides with the previously registered fingerprint, the fingerprint collating device outputs an access permission signal. When the redge palm patterns of the input fingerprint cannot be read as a result of a decision, other collating means collates. When the other collating means collates, the input fingerprint is stored and the access permission signal is output. |
