PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera which can optionally add and delete a function matching a user-individual's way of using at need. SOLUTION: The electronic camera has a control means 14 which controls various camera operations and a removable external recording medium 100 where image data are recorded and is characterized by that a program for an additional function of the camera is stored on the external recording medium 100 and the control means 14 reads the program stored on the loaded external storage means 100 and executes the additional function. |
