COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD, COMMUNICATION CONTROLLER, AND ADSL COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the arrival range of a signal and to realize a higher data rate even when the attenuation of high frequency bands is greater in communication adopting the ADSL system. SOLUTION: A center side and a remote side connect with a line 1 to execute an initialize sequence for deciding a communication speed, and the both detect a gain characteristic of a signal received on the way of initializing sequence. Then the center side or the remote side informs the remote side or the centers side about the detected gain characteristic and corrects the gain characteristic of the transmission signal after that on the basis of the gain characteristic notified from the opposite party so that a transmitter side can correct the gain increase in the transmission signal depending on the attenuation and the reception level at a receiver side can be maintained to be a prescribed value or more thereby realizing a higher data rate.
