PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an authentication for identification by accepting the application of various services through a Web site. SOLUTION: In this acceptance authentication system for accepting information on application related to specific services from customer terminals through the Web site and executing an authentication on customers, an acceptance authentication server comprises a storage means for storing intrinsic display information added to customer owned media issued to the customers, an acceptance means for accepting the information on application related to specific services from the customer terminals, an input request means for requesting the input of the intrinsic display information added to the customer owned media to the customer terminals at the time of acceptance of the information on application, and an authentication means for executing the authentication on the customers by collating the intrinsic display information inputted from the customer terminals according to the input request with the intrinsic display information stored in the storage means.
