PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water meter co-rotation preventive holder capable of preventing co-rotation of a water meter when rotating a nut. SOLUTION: This water meter co-rotation preventive holder prevents co- rotation of the water meter when rotating the nut for connecting the water meter and a pipe. A water meter holding part 4 for holding the water meter is arranged in a lower end part of a bar-shaped handle 1. The water meter holding part 4 is provided with a water meter support member 5 for supporting the water meter from below on the lower end of the handle, and a lock pin for slidably supporting a hook 6 by an arm 7, journaling a hook lock lever 9 to the hook 6 for locking a position of the hook 6 so as to fit for the water meter having the prescribed size by a slide of the hook 6, and energized to the lock hole side for engaging with a lock hole formed at an interval in the arm 7 so as to be suited to the water meter having the prescribed size.
