PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently operate a gas turbine with start up loss restrained. SOLUTION: A pipe 51 for supplying steam to be used for cooling is provided at a cooling channel inlet of a stationary blade 4. A supply source supplying steam to the stationary blade 4 is switched from an auxiliary steam header 81 to high pressure steam of HP-SH 80 provided in HRSG (not indicated in the figure) by switching valves 15, 16. A connecting pipe 50 is provided at a cooling channel outlet of the stationary blade 4. Another end of the connecting pipe 50 is connected to a pipe 52 for supplying steam to a cooling channel of a rotor blade 1, and steam is supplied to the rotor blade 1 after cooling the stationary blade 4.
