PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish lumber to a beautiful surface state by bending sliced veneer by a small radius of curvature to effectively prevent a crack and a change in quality. SOLUTION: A method for processing a lumber of sliced veneer 3 bonded onto a surface comprises a sliced veneer bonding process for bonding the sliced veneer 3 of thinly slicing the lumber to a surface of a laminar substrate sheet 1; a film bonding process for bonding a plastic film 4 of 30 to 300μm in film thickness to a surface of the sliced veneer in bond strength of 0.1 to 1.5 kg/in; a groove working process for providing a bending groove 6 to a rear surface of the substrate sheet 1; a core material bonding process wherein the sliced veneer 3 and the plastic film 4 are bonded to the front surface, the substrate sheet 1 of providing the bonding groove 6 onto the rear surface is bent with the bending groove 6 to bend the sliced veneer 3 by a radius of curvature less than 1 mm and the substrate sheet 1 is bonded to a surface of the core material 7; and a peel process for peeling the plastic film 4 bonded to the surface of the sliced veneer 3 after the core material bonding process.
