PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a conventional drift pin that its striking sound is large, and the drift pin is dropped out to the opposite side by the reaction. SOLUTION: This drift pin comprises impact absorbing materials 4 and 4 on both end sides of a pin body 1 through first and second locking members 2 and 3. The first locking member 2 is attachably and detachably arranged on the base end side of the pin body 1, and comprises a major diameter part 2a formed larger than the outer diameter of the pin body 1 and a connecting spiral part 2b for attachably and detachably connecting the major diameter part 2a to the pin body 1. The major diameter part 2a comprises a recessed part 2c for protrusively providing the impact absorbing material 4; a tapered connecting hole 2d recessively provided to be matched with the tapered surface 1a of the pin body 1; and a connecting spiral hole 2e formed in the bottom center of the recessed part 2c. Since the first locking member 2 with major diameter is protrusively provided on the head part of the pin body 1, the drift pin is never dropped out to the opposite side from a hole even if strongly stroke with a hammer or the like. Further, since such impact and impact sound are absorbed by the impact absorbing member 4, the sound can be damped as low as a person is not bothered even in a night work. |
