SOLUTION: The angleθUR of inclination of a rear longitudinal wall 21c is set to be larger than the angleθUF of inclination of a front longitudinal wall 21b of a reinforcement center pillar 21. Since the rear longitudinal wall 21c is deformed in an expanding direction when a closed section 20 of a center pillar 16 is squeezed, the squeezing quantity is increased compared with that of the rear longitudinal wall 21c, and as a result, a front door which is continuously connected to the front longitudinal wall 21b at a rear end and a rear door which is continuously connected to the rear longitudinal wall 21c at a front end are largely bend at their front parts to absorb the impact energy, and thus, the occupants seated at the position corresponding to rear parts of the front and rear doors can be protected from the side impact.
