GLASS CLOTH HAVING HIGH IMPREGNATION PROPERTY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide glass cloth excellent in impregnating property of resins and surface smoothness. SOLUTION: This glass cloth improved in impregnating property of resins and surface smoothness is constituted of warp and weft. In the glass cloth, either one of diameter of single fiber constituting the warp or the weft is 8.5 to 9.5μm and the number of single fiber in yarn bundles of the warp and the weft is 200 to 800 and the density [(a) numbers/25 mm] of woven fabric of the warp and the density [(b) numbers/25 mm] of woven fabric satisfy the relationship of the formula 50<(a+b)<125 and the weight of glass cloth is 70 to 170 g/m<2> .
