PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively, safely and efficiently wash machinery or piping by isolating the washing region 1A and non-washing region 1B of the machinery or piping by a simple means to certainly prevent the leak of a washing liquid from the washing region 1A. SOLUTION: A balloon 4 is inserted in the boundary part of the washing region 1A and non-washing region 1B in the machinery or piping 1 and a fluid is supplied into the balloon 4 to expand the balloon 4 to isolate the washing region 1A and the non-washing region 1B. After seal water is injected in the non-washing region 1B, the washing liquid is supplied to the washing region 1A to wash the washing region 1A.
