PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view the past broadcasted information without having a local storage part. SOLUTION: A broadcasted information occasional storage system 24 stores broadcasted information. When a receiver 13 has to display the past broadcasted information, the receiver 13 transmits a time retrace request to an individual transmission control part 16 through a telephone line 10, etc., the individual transmission control part 16 reads stored video information from a mass storage means 8 and transmits the stored video information to the receiver 13, and a program can thereby be viewed as if a program that has been video-recorded with a VTR is reproduced.
