PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly corrosion resisting and abrasion resisting alloy higher in abrasion resistance than that of stellite, reliable to an impact load by a high-speed driven in emergency, and excellent in corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance in a high-temperature water in order to ensure the smooth drive of a control rod for reactor under high-temperature water and high load, a method for producing it, and a control rod drive unit using it. SOLUTION: This highly corrosion resisting and abrasive resisting alloy is characterized in that it contains a Cr carbide parted by plastic working and mainly composed of Ni and containing 1.0-3.0%, preferably, 1.0-2.5% of C, based on weight, and 20-40%, preferably 25-35% of Cr. This alloy preferably comprises a granular Cr carbide of 10μm or less and 2-15% as area ratio of a bar-like Cr carbide having a length of 50-200μm. The method for producing this alloy comprises performing a hot casting after casting and successively performing a hot isotropic pressurization.
