PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide 2-ethyl-2-adamantyl methacrylate crystal powder which has excellent operation properties such as filtrability and handleability. SOLUTION: This 2-ethyl-2-adamantyl methacrylate crystal powder has a bulk density of 0.4 to 0.7 g/cm<3> , and usually has spacings (angstrom unit) at about 7.37 to 7.42, about 6.67 to 6.72, about 6.23 to 6.29, about 5.46 to 5.50, about 4.95 to 4.98, about 4.75 to 4.79, and about 4.52 to 4.56 measured by X-ray diffraction.
