PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strut type suspension for an automobile allowing camber control. SOLUTION: This suspension for the automobile comprises a holding part 11 that holds the tip of a rod 5 and is dampably disposed on the inner surface of an insulator 14 of a car body mounting part via a mount rubber 13 and an upper cover 7 that is disposed on the lower surface of the holding part 11 and holds a coil spring 2 and a lower cover 8. A first rod 16 for camber control projects downwardly from the insulator 14 and on the outside of the coil spring 2 in parallel with the rod 5, a second rod 17 for camber control is pivoted a the tip of the first rod 16 for camber control, and the other end of the second rod 17 for camber control is pivoted at the upper end of a cylinder 4 through the clearance of the coil spring 2. |
