PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new five-membered heterocyclic derivative useful as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for diabetes mellitus or the like. SOLUTION: The compound represented by the general formula [wherein R<1> is a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted or a heterocyclic group which may be substituted; X is same or different and represents a direct bond or the like; Q is a 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon residue; the ring A represents an aromatic ring which may further have 1-3 substituent groups; n is an integer of 1-8; the ring B is a nitrogen-containing five membered heterocyclic ring which further may have 1-3 substituent groups; W is a 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon residue; V is a direct bond or the like; R<2> is a heterocyclic group or the like which may be substituted] or its salt is provided.
