DISPLAY FOR DISPLAYING SOLID BODY IN THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE AND MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO FREELY PROCESS SHAPE THEREOF WHILE TOUCHING THE SAME SOLID BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a display which can display a solid body in the three- dimensional space without using any special stereoscopic spectacles and further virtually actualize the shape of the solid body. SOLUTION: The display is based upon the principle that the inner side of a transparent fluorescent substance is irradiated with at least two invisible light beams and, when the invisible light beams cross each other in the transparent fluorescent substance, only the area where they cross each other is made to fluoresce and the principle that a virtual image is formed by using one or more curved mirrors. The solid body is formed in the three-dimensional space in the fluorescent substance by scanning the inner side of the fluorescent substance with at least two invisible light beams spatially and repeatedly in a specific time and the solid body is displayed in the space as a virtual image by using a curved mirror.
