SUPERFINISHING PROCESS METHOD OF RACEWAY OF BALL BEARING AND SUPERFINISHING GRINDING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superfinishing process method of a raceway of a ball bearing and a superfinishing grinding wheel structure which improve both correction of raceway circularity polygonal components and sectional shape accuracy of the raceway. SOLUTION: In this superfinishing process method of the raceway of the ball bearing wherein a grinding body is brought into contact with the raceway of a bearing ring of a rotating ball bearing in a circumferential direction of the raceway by a predetermined 'crossover' width, and the grinding body is swung laterally with respect to the circumferential direction of the raceway, grinding is performed such that an amount of grinding in the center with respect to the 'crossover' direction of the grinding body is rendered larger than those on both sides with respect to the 'crossover' direction.
