<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead traveling carrier capable of preventing transfer failure of a carried article caused by distortion or bending of a track and swing of the overhead traveling carrier and a carrying facility whereto the overhead traveling carrier is applied. SOLUTION: The carrying facility whereto the overhead traveling carrier 11 is applied is constituted by the track 1 suspended from a ceiling; and the overhead traveling carrier 11 equipped with a slide fork device (a carried article transfer device) 21 capable of extending to a horizontal direction crossing with a traveling direction at right angles, and traveling along the track 1. A pressing contact plate 4 is mounted on the track 1 on an opposite side from a side to which the slide fork device (the carried article transfer device) 21 extends in correspondence with a transfer position of the carried article W. A jack 71 actuating to push up the pressing contact plate 4 at extending of the slide fork device (the carried article transfer device) 21 is provided on the overhead traveling carrier 11.</p> |
